Boua's artistic style is rooted in his engagement with found materials, to which he applies his signature forms that evoke memorable images and scenes.

Working in Abidjan, the country's economic capital, located at the intersection of urbanization and industrialization, Boua experiences the Ivorian landscape with heightened sensitivity.

His observations of children are inspired by street scenes, where the current urban migration creates a complex web of ethnic, linguistic, cultural, and social interactions that enrich and challenge the region equally.
