Julia Martins Miranda
Júlia Martins Miranda is a Brazilian artist trained at the prestigious Nuova Academia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy. She works across various disciplines, including painting, photography, videography, and music.
Currently based in her studio in Noto, Sicily, Júlia is creating her latest series, PINDORAMA, which means "land of the palm trees." This term, used by the indigenous Tupi-Guarani people, refers to what is now known as Brazil. Each painting in the series draws inspiration from Brazilian poems and songs, connecting her with her identity through contrasting melodies and emotions.
PINDORAMA celebrates nature's beauty while linking ancestral memories to the present. Júlia describes it as "an ode to life and joy," reflecting her roots, family, and the cultural landscape that defines her. The series invites viewers to experience her universe through vibrant colors that evoke the spirit of her homeland.
